Manchester United are starting a rejuvenation process as Louis van Gaal is beginning to add more young players to his squad and the latest one to be signed by the Dutch coach is a 16 year old performer who was also being targeted by Arsenal and Chelsea but it was Manchester United the club that managed to secure his services.
Nishan Burkart will be making a move to Manchester United at the end of the season; Burkart is currently performing for FC Zurich but it was confirmed by his father that a deal has already taken place which is going to see the youngster making a move to Old Trafford in the summer transfer window.
“We have decided to leave the club in the summer. Nishan switches to Manchester United.
This reaction by Mr Canepa (the president of FC Zurich) has disappointed us. We would have liked a more dignified exit. It makes me feel as if he is offended. He could indeed be proud. He has not got many 16-year-olds with more than a dozen requests from top foreign clubs. He just has different ideas, such is business. It has affected my son. Now, however, he no longer suffers. He is looking forward to Man United.” The father of Nishan Burkart, Stephan Burkart said as he confirmed the deal that was made involving Manchester United and FC Zurich.
Anthony Martial was the other young player that Manchester United signed. Martian was signed for a fee of £36 million back on September of 2015 and so far, he had made a huge impact in the team as the 20 year old performer has scored 8 goals in 27 league appearances.
Manchester United made a big gamble in offloading so much cash in a young player but it appears to have paid off for the Premier League club as Martial is proving his worth and fans of the English club are hoping that it will be the same with the latest signing Nishan Burkart.
Marcus Rashford is another youngster who has been standing out recently as the 18 year old player has scored 4 goals in 7 games which is more goals than a few other players who have made more appearances but scored fewer goals.
