BECKHAM RULES OUT PSG MOVE

David Beckham will not be moving to France, with his reported move to Paris St. Germain called off at the moment. Beckham stated that he wants to continue with another two year contract with Galaxy.

One of the many reasons for him signing up a contract is because he wants to stay in the US, and avoid uprooting his family from America at the moment.

Beckham did have motives of moving to Europe when he had decided that he would want to play for England and to strengthen his chances to make it to the Olympic football team, but his family seem to have come first.

The 36 year old star has enjoyed his stay at the MLS. Last year the Galaxy won the MLS Cup after defeating Houston Dynamo, which was one of the major reasons for him to rethink about his plans of moving to England.

It looks like Beckham will be staying put though at one stage it looked like he might be moving to Tottenham, with some pundits even telling fans to make an FA Cup bet on him making his debut in the third round match in January!

Moreover, the arrival of new talent to Galaxy shows they intend to will be fight for the next title. The likes of Robbie Keane, who was a Premiership star at Tottenham, adds quality to the winning team.

Galaxy have also managed to increase the salary on offer to the world’s most famous footballer to further entice David Beckham to continue to stick with Galaxy for an extension of a 2 year contract.

Beckham has had quite a successful career, having started as one of the best players at Manchester United, before moving to Real Madrid, and finally to LA Galaxy.
