Manchester United might be interested in RomeluLukaku

Media reports that Manchester United might be interested in signing RomeluLukaku. The Everton striker might be reunited with his former manager at Chelsea, Jose Mourinho. The latter sold him to Everton after criticising the striker’s ability.

When asked about the possibility of having to work with his former manager, Lukaku replied that he was younger at that time and that he was not ready to be a first-team striker. He told reporters that he did not have anything to prove to Mourinho. He believes that now he has improved and that he has enough maturity to handle pressure.

Last year Manchester United attempted to land the Everton striker but was not successful. They might hope that this year they will be successful. The Red Devils will be keen to strengthen their attack with Rooney having lost his form. They have been relying mostly on Rashford and Anthony Martial to provide the goals. They will hope that RomeluLukaku will be able to get enough goals to help Manchester United compete next season.

Lukaku has made so far 37 appearances for Everton and scored 25 goals along the way. He will want to believe that his skills can be used in a team that is competing for titles as well as playing in Europe. Currently on national duties with Belgium, he has told reporters that he would want to play in the Champions League.

Now it will all depend on whether Jose Mourinho (if ever he becomes Manchester United new manager) would be interested in getting one of his former players at Manchester United.

Among other strikers that have been linked with the Red Devils is Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who has already stated that he wants to play in the Premier League. Fans will hope whoever comes to United next season will score goals and help end the decline that started with Ferguson retirement.
